Testing beers with Drupal - my new pet project

I just started development for the relaunch of the beer test web site biertest-online.de.

This beer site has an impressive database on breweries, beers and beer tests together with a loyal crows of followers who like to test beers. What it needs is a modern CMS that can handle the load. The old custom development reached its limits over the last years.

Now I could convince the owners of that site, that Drupal will be the right solution, so we just started developing the new version, which will also feature a new design. Once we get into beta, I will let you know in order for some beta-testers to join and test it by drinking beers for the good cause.

I hope to reach beta by October as this is rather a hobby than a paying project and will have to be done in my free time.
